Precision alloys (from French “precision” - accuracy), are metal alloys with specified physical properties (magnetic, electrical, thermal, elastic) or with a rare combination of properties due to the accuracy of the chemical composition, absence of impurities, careful manufacturing and processing. As a top-class alloy manufacture, Nexteck Technology provide various precision alloys, including INVAR, Manganin, Constantan, Karma  and more.

Precision alloys can be divided into a number of groups depending on their properties:

Magnetically-hard alloys;

Magnetically soft alloys;

Alloys with a specified temperature coefficient of linear expansion (TCLE);

Alloys with specified elasticity properties;

Superconducting alloys;

Thermobimetals

Most of precision alloys from Nexteck Technology are based on Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Nb. Precision alloys have the widest range of properties. In a number of cases, it is necessary to observe a very small change in the physical parameters of alloys with a change in temperature, magnetic and electric fields, and mechanical loads (for example, invar, elinvar, manganin, constantan, perminvar). In other cases, it is necessary to obtain a significant change in the physical parameters of the alloy when the external conditions change (such properties are manifested by permaloy, alumel, chromel, kopel, spring alloys, thermobimetals).
